Step Into Spring with Foot Therapy

In this two hour therapeutic foot workshop, you’ll get to know the mechanics of the feet and the pivotal role they play in your foundation.  The feet are required to be firm stabilizers, but flexible and adjustable. Their structure informs the balance and alignment of the upward joints of the body.  If the foot collapses or is distorted, that strain travels up the body to the hip/lower back and can cause pull or torque to one side or front to back.

We’ll look at the anatomy of the bone structure up close; learn exercises that stretch and strengthen the arches addressing plantar fasciitis and bunions. With restorative poses, a joint freeing series, ball rolling techniques and reflexology points, we’ll open the feet to relieve winter stiffness getting you ready for this next season with a spring in your step.
