Myofascial Release

Myofascial release is a practice of self-love, inviting slow, gentle attention to the exploration of your body—targeting tightness, knots, and sore muscles. Soft tissue balls allow you to pinpoint smaller, hard-to-reach areas more effectively than a hard cylindrical foam roller. By using props for leverage and support, the body begins to feel safe, creating a sense of resilience and ultimately calming the nervous system and reducing stress.

By applying varying intensities of pressure where tension is often held, we can help release these tissues stimulating nerve receptors, improving circulation and lymphatic drainage, increasing blood flow and supporting faster repair. When the breath is incorporated, participants notice a shift in sensation (pain begins to “creep” away) promoting a more relaxed body and mind.
