In this workshop, we’ll explore the anatomy and function of the pelvis and pelvic floor, including how changes such as menopause can impact the body. Through accessible yoga postures, breathwork, and alignment awareness, participants will learn how to release excess tension, support pelvic health, and move toward greater ease and comfort in daily life.

Basic pelvic anatomy
How menopause can affect pelvic floor health
The relationship between pelvic tension, incontinence, and pain
How breath and posture support pelvic floor and digestive function
Yoga poses for both tight (hypertonic) and weak (hypotonic) pelvic floors
Why “over-kegaling” can be counterproductive—and what to do instead
How foot placement, joint alignment, and compensation patterns influence pain
